Before placing the girls belt through the loop do the following:
1. hold the girls belt around the waist to measure size.
2. find the strap adjustment peice and slide it down.
3. move strip of material up through adjuster, forming a loop.
4. to make longer adjust the girls belt in the opposite direction.
5. once adjusted, slip the girls belt through her pant loop, fit interlocking pieces together and snap.
